Little Groove Collective

Little Groove Collective was created from a deeply personal journey rooted in love, inclusion, and community. Founded by Marissa Estrella, owner and operator of Little Groove Play Studio, the organization grew from her experience raising her son, who is on the autism spectrum. During his early years, therapy sessions became one of the only safe and supportive outlets for their family. Through those experiences, Marissa connected with many other parents facing similar challenges—families searching for spaces where their children could simply be welcomed, understood, and included.

 

Determined to create the kind of environment she wished existed for her own child, Marissa opened Little Groove Play Studio with guidance and support from her son’s therapy team, who helped thoughtfully advise on equipment, sensory materials, and play experiences. Every corner of the space was intentionally designed to support children of all abilities through opportunities for fine motor and gross motor development, vestibular strength, coordination, creativity, sensory exploration, and group socialization.

 

As the studio grew, so did the realization that families needed more than a play space—they needed connection, support, and community. Little Groove Collective was created to expand that mission through inclusive programs, family engagement, accessible resources, and meaningful experiences that help parents navigate early childhood and the beginning stages of parenthood. Our goal is to help create the village every family deserves while celebrating each child’s unique path as they learn, grow, and thrive together.
